Originally graduating in science from Monash University, Australia, this ex-punk rocker and one-time policeman on the Australian television series Blue Heelers is now a travel writer, having visited some thirty-five countries.

A jetset vagabond and citizen of the world, Aaron is a professional drifter, part-time card shark, scuba-diver and yoga teacher. He has also been an out-of-work truck-driving actor, table-waiting musician and barman philosopher. He is a general dogsbody, Jack of all trades who currently lives and works in Brazil as an English teacher.

Currently he is in and out of the Amazon jungle, researching his next book about shamanic tourism.  He has interviewed various platitude-spouting gringos and shamanic sharks, gatecrashed religious cults, and lived with cannibal Indians. He is still searching for Elvis.
